Baxenden Chemicals of Droitwich required addition steam capacity for its chemical manufacturing facility.

Acting as principal designer and project manager, Admec co-ordinated and supervised the work of other parties, such as the architect, the building and civil engineering contractor, to design, specify and project manage the installation of a new process steam generation plant.

The replacement equipment has significantly increased Baxenden Chemicals' production capacity, without substantially adding to fuel costs.
